Kalayaan Cup tees off in June
Golfers will ride shotgun for the 17th Philippine Airlines Kalayaan Cup tournament at Macquarie Links International Golf Links, Liverpool, on Monday, June 11.
The LBC-sponsored Cup, organised by FilOz Social Golf Club, is being held in conjunction with celebrations of the 114th anniversary of Philippine independence on June 12.
Format of play will be ‘individual stableford’ with four handicap divisions: division A for players with a handicap 0-12, division B for with a handicap 13-18, division C for with a handicap 19-25, and division C with a handicap 26-30/45.
Chief organiser Ric de Vera said individual stableford will be based on achAGU/Social handicap declared, verifiable and maximum of 30 for men and 45 for women ladies.
In a tie, a countback will apply to (1) the last nine holes, (2) the last six holes, and (3) the last three holes.
