Practical for kids

WHAT CAR

I drive a silver 1999 Subaru Liberty.

FEATURES

It has a leather interior, central locking, ABS brakes, cruise control, quad-cam, airbags, Full power options including steering, windows, and mirrors; 18-inch alloy wheels, and automatic window lifts.

PURCHASED

Five years ago, at a used-car dealer along Parramatta Road, Granville.

USES

I drive it for everything, private and work. Mostly, it’s to take my child to school and for weekend family driving. Hubby has his own special cars.

LIKE

I like it because it’s roomy. And its leather interior makes it so practical for the children. More, it has a big boot.

DON’T LIKE

My mufflers are too loud for my comfort. Also, I think the suspension needs reworking.

PET PEEVES

Drivers who tailgate, are rude and don’t give way. And I had peek-hour traffic.

FIRST CAR

My first car was 1980 Mitsubishi Colt, which lasted me less than a year in 2001 before I traded it in for a later model.

IDEAL CAR

If I had a lot of money to spare, I’d be driving the Anglo-American AC Cobra, sports car, better known as the Shelby Cobra.
