More than 1,000 of the world’s best dancers from 11 countries will compete for eight vacant world titles and international bragging rights. Dance choreographers, aspiring artists and celebrities are also expected to attend and add fun and excitement to the festival.

World Supremacy Battlegrounds founder and Lidcombe-based hiphop impresario Marco Selorio believes in embracing the dance culture and how it serves to be a shining light for the youth.

“The World Supremacy Battlegrounds is a celebration of dance and music. We want to promote Australian and Filipino dancers and performers by offering them a bigger platform,” Selorio said.

“The move to Sydney Olympic Park is a big step for us, but we have maintained our street credibility and integrity. A lot of young people are drawn to the positive vibe and energy that WSB generates. Our message: dance mean, keep it clean.”

Other participating countries include Australia, Bahamas, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, New Zealand, Singapore, South Africa, Taiwan, USA
