Filing of Manifestation of Intent to Vote extended until January 11

The Commission on Elections (COMELEC) has given Overseas Absentee Voters (OAV) who failed to vote twice until January 11, 2013 to file their manifestation of intent to vote and be able to exercise their right of sufferage in the May 13, 2013 National and Local Elections.

Resolution No. 9578 “In the matter of Amending Resolution No. 9567 dated December 4, 2012 regarding Policy to be Adopted for Overseas Voters who failed to vote twice for the Purposes of the May 13, 2013 National and Local Elections. This will ensure that the 238,557 OAVs will be given to chance to exercise their right to vote.
